Key Highlights

Day 1: Connecting with Industry Leaders at Booth #82

The event began with a steady stream of conversations at Booth #82, where we had the opportunity to meet enterprise leaders from across industries. Every interaction highlighted a common challenge: organizations are under pressure to prepare their workforce for AI, but they also need a clear way to measure capability, identify skill gaps, and enable continuous upskilling

Throughout the day, we spoke with HR and L&D professionals about the evolving role of Skills Intelligence, capability-based learning, and how organizations can move beyond course completions to understand what employees are truly capable of doing.

These discussions reinforced an important shift taking place across enterprises—learning is no longer viewed as a standalone function but as a strategic capability that directly influences business outcomes.

Day 2: A Roundtable on Preparing the Workforce for Agentic AI

The second day marked a major highlight of the event as Tekstac, in collaboration with SHRM India, hosted an exclusive closed-door roundtable on “Preparing the Workforce for Agentic AI: Skills, Roles, and Readiness.”

The discussion brought together senior HR, L&D, and business leaders to exchange practical perspectives on how organizations can successfully prepare employees for the Agentic AI era.

Several key themes emerged from the discussion:

  • Building AI-ready skills and mindsets by encouraging adaptability, continuous learning, experimentation, and stronger ownership of AI initiatives.
  • Improving AI and digital literacy so employees understand AI fundamentals while ensuring every initiative is aligned to clear business objectives.
  • Preparing for evolving enterprise roles, where professionals increasingly need to bridge business strategy, technology, governance, and transformation.
  • Establishing responsible AI governance with strong frameworks for compliance, risk management, and secure deployment.
  • Measuring AI success beyond productivity, including employee experience, capability growth, cost optimization, governance, and long-term business value.

One message resonated throughout the discussion: successful AI transformation is not just about adopting new technology. It is about building the skills, roles, and organizational readiness that allow people and AI to work together effectively.

A Successful Two Days of Learning and Collaboration

Across both days, SHRM UnConference 2026 provided an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with leaders who are actively shaping the future of work. From insightful discussions at our booth to collaborative knowledge sharing during the roundtable, every interaction reinforced the importance of measurable capability development in the age of AI.

We extend our sincere thanks to SHRM India for partnering with us on the roundtable and for creating a platform that encouraged open dialogue, practical insights, and valuable collaboration.

For Tekstac, SHRM UnConference 2026 was not just another industry event—it was an opportunity to contribute to some of the most important conversations around workforce transformation and strengthen our commitment to helping enterprises build AI-ready workforces through measurable capability development.
